2012年3月，武晋老师和硕士研究生曹黎赴老挝万象和乌多姆赛两个省进行实地调查，旨在了解中国对老挝援助的项目管理情况以及其中存在的问题。此行深入了解了正在建设中的国家会议中心项目、农业示范中心项目和13号公路项目，考察了中国援助老挝的凯旋门广场项目、国家文化宫项目，拜访了老挝农林部，老-中经济合作委员会的工作人员，并与三个国际机构USAID，JICA和亚洲基金会的负责人员进行了座谈。
　　Professor Wu and master student Cao Li went Vientiane and Oudomxay Province in Laos during March 2012 to investigate the current situation and problems of China’s development assistance to Laos. In order to get the whole picture, they have looked into the ongoing projects of National Convention Center, Agricultural Demonstration Center and No.13 National Road thoroughly, visited completed projects of Vientiane Triumph Square and National Cultural Hall, they also visited to the officials from Department of Agriculture and Lao-China Cooperation Commission, and 3 international organizations USAID, JICA and Asian Foundation
